The organizing committee for the 2020 Jeonju International Biennale of Korean Studies announces a call for papers to Korean studies researchers around the world. The 2020 Jeonju International Biennale of Korean Studies will be held from November 11 (Wed) to 14 (Sat), 2020 at Jeonbuk National University in Korea. The conference will provide scholars with an opportunity to share their ideas and the latest achievements in Korean Studies with fellow scholars from around the world.

2. Application
Individual proposals for the designated topics should include a title page and a one-page abstract. The title page needs to have the following information.
- Title of the paper
- Session in which the paper will be presented
- Title (Prof. / Dr. / Mr. / Ms.) and Name(s) of the author(s)
- Nationality ※ The speaker should be non-Korean.

- Postal address
- Phone & Fax number
- Language you will use
Submissions should be submitted electronically only to leecm@jbnu.ac.kr no later than Mar 20 (Fri), 2020. Receipt of submissions will be acknowledged via e-mail within three working days. The abstracts will be reviewed based on the contents and suitability of the abstracts. Conference presenters for the selected papers will be notified on Mar 31 (Tue), 2020 and will be required to submit a full paper of 10-15 pages for conference proceedings by Sep 30 (Wed), 2020.
Travel and Accommodation Grant Support
To support our international guests’ participation in this conference, we will be glad to provide financial support to cover all travel expenses, including the round-trip airfare, accommodation & dining, honorarium (100,000 KW). This international conference consists of academic conference and traditional Korean culture experiential programs including temple stay. Full-cover for the travel expenses are available to scholars participating in the entire schedule.
We’re welcoming young scholars of Korean Studies and highly recommended to participate in the conference. The Organizing Committee of 2020 Jeonju International Biennale of Korean Studies will provide accommodation and meals for participants who purchase round-trip tickets and attend volunteer academic conferences.
