PCA/ACA Annual National Conference Call for Papers
J.W. Marriott Wardman Park
Washington, D.C. April 17-20 

  • We invite papers about all wars after 1945: Korea, Vietnam, Gulf, Iraq. Afghanistan, Africa, and the Middle East.
  • We invite artists of original fiction, poetry, drama, and music.
  • We encourage all perspectives: North American, Central American, Northeast Asian, Southeast Asian, and Middle-Eastern.
  • All approaches will be honored: scholarly, interdisciplinary, Multi-cultural, Film, Literature, History, Sociology, Political Science, Linguistics, Ethnicity, Folklore, and Oral History.
  • Send a 250-word abstract, including the title of the paper to the PCA website 
  • You may also submit a proposal for a panel presentation. For each presenter include name, department, university affiliation, email address, and phone number.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • October 1, 2018: Registration Opens; Deadline for Paper Submission Proposals
  • November 1, 2018: Early Bird Registration Ends
  • December 1, 2018: Registration Ends
  • December 15, 2018: Drop-Dead Date: Participants Not Registered Removed from Program
